Welcome our New Director of Outreach! Jenny McKenna is the new Director of Outreach for Lord of Life. She has attended our church for the past several years with her husband, Kevin, and children, Travis, John, and Cassidy. They have been involved in Vacation Bible School, the confirmation program, and the church’s Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop. Reflecting on the direction of Outreach, Jenny says, “Anne created such a solid foundation of Outreach ministries that my initial role will be to continue to support them and their established ministries. Going forward, I’d love to further the congregation’s impact on the community through new projects and events. I’m open to ideas and input from everyone as outreach ministries are most successful when based on a person’s passion for a cause.” You can contact Jenny at jmckenna@lordoflifeonline.org or 281-367-7016, ext. 108.
Safe Harbor, a community group that holds several meetings a week at Lord of Life, sent us a moving letter about their observations of our congregations in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. You can read it here.
