How Do I Meet People?

Lord of Life Lutheran Church in The Woodlands, TX is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Lord of Life.

Small Group

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Lord of Life Church has small bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve at a time, designated by your group.

Childen’s/Youth Ministry

Our passion is to lovingly embrace and teach our children to love the Lord, love one another, and develop a strong foundation in the Christian faith. Through exciting and age-appropriate activities and programs, our children are growing together in faith, centered in Christ, and serving God’s world with love

. Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction.  Click here

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of Lord of Life provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.

Women’s Group

Lord of Life Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer, fellowship (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. We currently offer:

Ladies Bible Study every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the library. Childcare is provided. Click here for information.

Busy Women’s Evening Bible Study every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in the library. Childcare is provided. 

Mom’s with Young Kids “Share, Support & Study” Wednesday mornings 9:30 – 11:30 in the conference Room. Childcare is provided.

 

Lunch Bunch – Meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month at noon at local restaurants. You an also find updated info in our weekly “Happenings” email or our Monthly “Lifeline” Newsletter.

Men’s Group

To be a man of integrity, you need accountability.

Men’s Breakfast is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Men of all ages meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 7:30 a.m.in our Fellowship Hall for a walk through The Word. DAD’S with Young Children: Meet at Goose’s Acre every Thursday night at 8pm for Fellowship and Commiseration.  Men’s Retreat

 at Lake Livingston every July.

Over 50’s

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-50 group of Lord of Life provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.  Common Table
